What We’re Doing in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo
St. Aidan’s Society took the lead in a Coordinated Community Response (CCR) for Elder Abuse in the RMWB beginning in September 2015. The CCR for Elder Abuse Committee was formed and has approximately 20 local organizations who have various levels of involvement, and are working together to create a local collaborative response to deal with elder abuse in our region. Having this process will assist our community in the prevention and intervention of elder abuse in this region, with the ultimate goal of safety for seniors. The target date for completion of this model is December 2017.
For more information please contact the CCR Coordinator, Pam Burns at 780-743-4370 ext. 2.
