Marketing Material
The following links represent a selection of downloadable resource material that address the issue of elder abuse and neglect. Some are Alberta community-based and have been developed as a part of an AEAAC initiative, while others are related to initiatives in other parts of the country. Collectively they may help you expand your knowledge and understanding of the profoundly complex issue of abuse toward Alberta’s older adults, and your appreciation that a truly effective and transformative effort requires holistic community response involving many stakeholders working closely and strategically in compassionate collaboration.
This selection is meant as a starting point toward education and is by no means a complete list of print resources that may be available.
A number of these resources have been developed in partnership between AEAAC and the Alberta Government. If you see a resource listing the Government of Alberta, it may be available as a printed material and can be ordered by contacting the Alberta Support Contact Centre at 1-877-780-644-9992 (toll-free) or locally at (780) 644-9992.
