Why Did I Join? I joined the Council as the Alberta Justice and Solicitor General (JSG) Victims Services representation. My role is to foster and maintain collaboration and communication between JSG, the criminal justice stakeholders and the AEAAC.
A Bit About Me: I am the Coordinator of Community and Specialized Programs with JSG Victims Services. I have worked in various capacities with Victims Services over the past 10+ years but find working with programs that offer specialized services to vulnerable victims of crime to be the most challenging and rewarding. I am responsible for coordinating a number of portfolios within Victims Services including family violence, sexualized violence, child abuse and elder abuse. I look forward to continuing my role and working collaboratively on this Council to increase awareness and support a community response to elder abuse.
