Melissa Kondro


Melissa Kondro is the Elder Abuse Response Coordinator at Stop Abuse in Families (SAIF) Society, in St. Albert. Melissa holds a Diploma in Human Services, and Social Work, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service Administration. Melissa lives with her husband, 2 daughters and a new puppy. She worked many years in the Family Violence field as both a Crisis Intervention Worker and Outreach Worker, as well as 8 years as Executive Director at Fort Saskatchewan Families First Society. Melissa is also co-founder of Angel Whispers, a baby loss support program in memory of her oldest daughter that passed away shortly after birth. Melissa is new to the Elder Abuse field and is enjoying working with older adults and looks forward to assisting the council and its future work.
