Take No Bull - Camrose Fundraising Venture

Posted in Your Best Practices & Community Activities

The Family Violence Action Society: Camrose and District is poised to launch a unique tongue-in-cheek fundraising venture, "Take No Bull." The focal point of this event is Wild West Willie, a 3000 pound Brahma-cross steer, and the question of WHO will ride Wild West Willie in the Big Valley Jamboree Parade on August 1st in Camrose. Registered contestants will raise pledges through their online Giving Pages (a service of Canada Helps) to vie for one of the "Top Ten Fundraiser" spots that will put them into the draw for Supreme Champion and rider of Willie. Contestants dont have to be local residents, so any adult who would like a chance at this unique experience can register. Visit our Facebook page for some great visuals of this magnificent beast and be sure to "Like" us while youre there. Youll find contest rules and contestant entry forms there too.
